Short Biography
Michael Francis Middleton was born in 1949. He is the son of Captain Peter Francis Middleton and Valerie Glassborow. His father was an RAF pilot during World War Two. Middleton worked as a flight dispatcher for British Airways. He married Carole Elizabeth Goldsmith in 1980 and together they set up a mail order company, Party Pieces. The couple have three children Catherine, who married Prince William in 2011, Philippa and James.
